Vacation Bible School Guidelines for Parents and Children
We are very excited to have your children with us for Vacation Bible School here at The Door Christian Church of Harlingen. This years theme is Firefighters and we want your children to have the best time discovering the many valuable lessons God has to teach him/her. Please help us reach our goal of creating a fun, safe, and memorable environment for your children this week by reading the following and ensuring that your child is prepared every day.

CLOTHING:
1. Every child should wear comfortable shorts/pants, shirts and tennis shoes. 2. No skirts or dresses.

TO BRING:
1. A Bible, preferably one easy for them to read.
​
NOT TO BRING:
1. No money, VBS is free, nothing will be sold to your child
2. No toys
3. No phones, we will provide our number if your needing to reach your child
​
FOOD:
1. Please feed your child breakfast before. We will provide a snack each day before they leave.
​
DROP OFF/PICK UP:
1. Please sign your child in each day when arriving
2. Children will only be allowed to leave with authorized personnel listed in registration form.
3. If a person not listed is to pick up your child, you must notify VBS Director and person MUST bring a photo ID

FIELD TRIP:
Children will be taking a trip to a local Fire Station on Friday. Everyone will be attending and there will be no one staying behind with any child. Please consider this if you do not wish your child to participate in this event.
